This is the first time I’ve stayed in the Song hotel and it won’t be my last. This stylish accommodation is situated perfectly, with Hyde Park on the doorstep and the fashionable Surry Hills just a short stroll away. Museum Station is a couple of minutes away with direct links to the airport. I wanted to drop my bag off before 11am but I was actually allowed to check in to my room early. The micro Queen was a perfect size for this solo traveler and the buffet breakfast (included in the price) was an absolute joy. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and even though they had signs posted apologising for renovations and the presence of tradespeople, I barely noticed. I highly recommend this delightful hotel for your next city break.

The hotel is adequate but communication about parking was terrible, and it cost me more to pay the hotel for parking than it would have to just pay at the machine. The parking lot had a charge of $42 for 2 nights. The hotel charged me $50. I couldn't be bothered wasting my time chasing it up, but the principle of it is annoying. They had told me parking would be discounted, not extra.

Great central location, clean & quiet room. Very pleased that I could leave bags there after checkout so I could visit nearby museum. Breakfast better than I expected. Restaurant meal was affordable and delicious. Definitely stay there again when in Sydney.

Looks like it has just been renovated. Great rooms, stylish and very clean. Also Wentworth Ave is quiet. Great location. Straight off the train from the airport at Museum Station and into the hotel. Some excellent cafes around for the morning hit and at the junction to some interesting restaurant opportunities. It probably involves a 5 -10 walk to Chinatown or the restaurants of Surry Hills in the other direction. Once you understand the public transport system its great. Check the light rail routes as well. Easy bus access to Bondi beach and of course the train and ferry system. I go to Sydney 3-4 times a year and if the prices stay down at their current levels this will be my go to hotel. There are lots of quality choices in Sydney but this really did impress me
